Calterra Capital is a private investment firm focused on creating and growing technology companies in the mortgage industry. Our team is comprised of experienced technology experts and seasoned mortgage professionals. Our portfolio companies solve real problems with best-in-class technology solutions throughout origination, servicing, secondary and capital markets.
Calterra Portfolio Highlights
Calterra is a founding investor in LauraMac, launched in 2019 to provide loan review and loan acquisition technology solutions. LauraMac has captured ~80% market-share of TPR firms in the loan review segment and has landmark clients utilizing its loan acquisition solution.
Calterra was a founding investor in Equator, launched in 2003 to provide a loan default solution to banks, servicers and government entities. Equator quickly became a benchmark of the mortgage industry, capturing a 75% market share. Equator ultimately helped banks and the US economy recover from the mortgage crisis of 2008.
Calterra was a founding investor in Resitrader, launched in 2015 to provide an intuitive trading and operational platform for residential whole loan mortgages which enable the seamless trading of securitized debt in the US and international markets.
Calterra is a founding investor in Forta Solutions, launched in 2022 to bring modern technology to mortgage lending. Forta Solutions will be launching the Agility product in Q4 of 2023. The Agility product is a highly configurable solution built by industry operators to solve a real and current need in the mortgage lending space.
